đŸ•’Timing and Structuring Your Sales Calls for Solopreneurs: How to Maximize Impact

Timing is everything!

As a solopreneur, time on a consult is your most precious resource.

Effectively structuring and timing your sales calls can make the difference between sealing the deal and spinning your wheels.

Here are some insights on how to master your timing and structuring your sales calls for maximum impact:

Agenda Setting (5 Minutes): Thank them for coming on the call and outline the topics you'll discuss during the call. This sets expectations and keeps the call on track.

Identify Their Needs (5-10 Minutes): Ask open-ended, direct, questions to understand their overall situation and objectives. Let them do most of the talking, and actively listen to their responses.

Blueprint Building (10-20 Minutes): Ask them about the specific problems your business solves and ask them where they want to be after the duration of your program. Share the specific solutions that you offer in your program. Address their specific needs, and explain how your product or service can help. Be clear and concise, and avoid overwhelming them with too much information. Recap after going through all the problems and explain what their life would be like after working with you.

Q&A and Additional Information (5 Minutes): Address any concerns they have. Be prepared to overcome objections with confidence. Answer any questions they have and provide any additional information.

Pricing and Decision Making (5-10  Minutes): Discuss pricing options or packages. Make sure they fully understand the value they'll receive. If they’re a no for now tell them that you’ll still be there for them if they need anything. Set a follow-up time if they need to think about it. Or book their first or reserve their weekly call time with you.

Recap and Thank You (5 Minutes): Summarize what you discussed, including the next steps. Express gratitude for their time and consideration.

Remember, every sales call is unique. Adapt your structure and timing based on the flow of the conversation. Most importantly, don't rush the process. Prioritize building relationships over making quick sales.

The right structure and timing, paired with a genuine desire to help, can lead to successful sales calls that benefit both you and your potential client.
