Episode 2: How to Make Your Six-Figure Offer

Hello. Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the six Figure Systems podcast, the podcast that helps entrepreneurs make more in less time. Now, within this episode, we are going to be talking about your six figure offer. Your six figure offer is something that I do with all of my clients, and it is something that I think is underutilized because people aren't thinking about your offer as a representation of your business as a whole. One of the things that I see many, of us service based businesses doing is we aren't clear about what our serv, what is the one thing that our service provides that is useful and supportive for all the people that are in our sphere and in our audience. One thing that I have found really, really interesting is that even if you are, let's say, a life coach like I was, I would talk about my offer and I'd be like, you're going to get six months of mindset. And people were like, what's mindset? I don't care. And it was one of those things that was really, really frustrating at the beginning of my business, because I knew that investing in my mindset, it changed my life. I was able to run a marathon. I was able to write, do my national boards. There was so much that I accomplished heal my relationships. There was so much that I accomplished because of my mindset. But the average person who is in the public did not understand why investing thousands of dollars with me to help their mindset would actually serve them. So I want you to think about your offer as something that is worthy of investing, of, people investing in, to scale your business to six figures. I want you to think about why would somebody actually want to pay you for your service over an extended period of time, and most likely thousands of dollars? People can spend their money anywhere, and they are spending their money anywhere. I want them to stop their scroll on you. I want them to start investing in you as much as they are investing in other tangible but tarnishable things that grow and fade over time. Because as a service based industry, what we are doing is we are giving people intangible results that are investments that last a lifetime. And I want to tell you how I break that down for my people. So the first thing that I do is when we're thinking about creating a profitable six figure offer, you want to make sure that you have very clear results that you create for your clients and, you know, a process that you will take them through to get there. You also are solving a very specific problem they have with a solution that you have. Those are the core aspects of your offer. And the way that I've categorized it is that you want to take your big offer and you want to simplify it down to, I would say, three to five, what I call pillars. Now, your pillars are just topics that you discuss that represent the results somebody would get and are things that can help the algorithm to send people your way. You want to think about, what is my person really struggling with? What are they googling to try and solve? And how can I say this in a way that is simple, clear, and doable for them to create within your six figure offer? One of the things that I would recommend is I would think about the things that you probably are able to help people do. And for me, I knew that I was able to help people with their mindset. And I used a system called the model. I am certified through the life coach school. and within that certification, I learned how to use a technique for mindset called the model. And that mindset technique that I used helped me in my life do so many different things. But I would go on a consult and I would tell people, oh, I'm going to teach you the model. And people like, like, model, like posing. What. What on earth do you mean? And that confusion. A confused mind always says no. And I knew I can help people, and that was like, the most frustrating thing is I was like, I, know I can help you, but, I was not communicating clearly in a way that was compelling enough for somebody to buy. So what you need to do is you need to think about, why is that important? What does having the model mindset actually create for somebody? And so for me, I realized that having mindset helped me to overcome stress or overcome burnout, and it helped me generate confidence. So that became my pillar. And then I would think about those clients, and I would think about where they were now, where they wanted to go. And instead of telling them the model, I was like, where are you at right now with your burnout, on a scale of one to ten? And dig them through my process. Instead of telling them that I was going to teach them the model to help them overcome burnout, I created the stress management system. I created a protocol. And if you put the word the, in front of anything, it creates intrigue, it creates excitement, and it creates something that people are investing in. So you want to make sure that you have a very clear process and very clear that you take people through that's related to the pillars. So overcome stress or, overcome burnout. Stress management protocol. Super simple. And that's what I did with each aspect of my business, I also realized, so it was like I had the five pillars that I had when I was a general life coach. And when I scaled to my first six figures, were overcome, burnout, generate confidence, create work life balance, manage your time, and create a long term plan. So the five things that I, that were my pillars in my business, and I was able to communicate so much more clearly what I did.

The next thing that I want you guys to think about is, after you have your pillars, I would love for you to create a movement beyond just you. A lot of times when we're thinking about having a business, it directly represents us because we are the only person in our business. But what I would love for you to do, is I would love for you to create an offer that is, has a name that's outside of your name. We want to take away your name and likeness, and we want people to invest in a movement, in something that's a little bit bigger than themselves. And you want to make sure that movement that you're creating is something that people actually want to invest in. So for me, I thought about all the things that I was helping people do, and I realized I was so, so passionate about helping people with their contribution, making a bigger impact in the world. And I realized that it was all pretty much my favorite thing to coach on was with careers. Now, my program at the time before, I had made six figures in my 47k year that I did part time in 2021 and in 15k year in 2020 was, I found that they, I might, I was like, yeah, you're just investing in Megan wing coaching, just investing with me. And people were like, I'm going to spend thousands of dollars because I just like you. It's kind of a lot. It's kind of a lot for people. The average bear. And so that's why I want you to create something bigger than just you. It also feels like, it's like I know that I'm very fun and very, quite likable. However, I want you to think about within your business, I want them to have something bigger than just you to really, be investing in and thinking about. So I decided to call my business as a general life coach. I decided to switch my branding to the career fulfillment initiative. And when I had that positioning, when I had the career fulfillment initiative, people were elated. It was so much easier for them to invest with me because they knew that they were investing in fulfilling, in having a fulfilling career. For now that I have six figure systems people aren't just investing. As Megan wing, the business coach, she's pretty cool. But they're investing in six figure systems. They know that they are going to get the mindset and tactics in order to scale their business, not just to their first six figures, but to, multiple six figures while working 8 hours or less a week. That is a huge result that people want, and it makes it so much easier for people to invest with me.

So I want you to think about those that offer, that six figure offer, why that is the cornerstone and the most important piece of your business. In order in the first system, that you want to create for your business is once you have that offer, you are going to gain clarity in the entire front end of your business. That means that when you are marketing to people, they're going to be very clear about who you are and what you do and how you help. When you are selling, they're going to hear the same three to five things again and they're going to be like, oh, I know, I feel very safe because I've heard this before. And they are going to develop the know like and trust factor extremely quickly so they are able to purchase, even if they are what's called a cold lead and they don't know you at all. And then last but not least, you're also going to create an incredible way that you deliver for your clients. When they are working with you, they are seeing that they are growing in your pillars. For me personally, I'll share this later, but I actually track my clients progress. So I know that they're getting more confident with their sales, they're getting more confident with their marketing, they're getting more confident managing leads, and they're getting more confident planning. And so I feel awesome. As an entrepreneur, I know that anyone who invests in with me, they're never going to get worse. They always get so, so much better. And the result tracking because of that has created so much trust in my clients that they know that if they start to dip for some reason, they know I'm going to be able to help them. And all they need to do is speak up. So your clients are going to feel that, same trust with you. And when you've gotten incredible, succinct and consistent front end of your business, what happens is you have people who are renewing with you, people are going to refer their friends to you, and they're going to give you glowing testimonials. Like I mentioned before, I actually, I'm not sure if I mentioned this but m one of the things that I would love for you guys to start doing is talking more about testimonials. 89% of people need to see a testimonial to buy, so I'll include a testimonial template in the show notes so you can download that. Start gathering testimonials from your clients and you're going to be able to scale your business. It's a very simple system. It is. The most essential system is creating that six figure offer so you have a cohesive front end of your business that helps people to continue to buy, help them refer, and create testimonials as you go.
